Install code-agent in 5 minutes, wherever your team already works
GitHub Marketplace, VS Code, Azure DevOps, Docker for any CI, or the CLI binary on your laptop — pick the one that fits.
The fastest way to evaluate code-agent is to run it where you already are. Here's the shortest path for five common setups.
1. GitHub Marketplace (recommended for GitHub repos)
Add it as a step in your existing workflow:
- uses: runningcodeio/ai-code-agent@v1
with:
task: "fix failing tests"
verify-cmd: "pytest -q"
It runs on your runner with your LLM key — we never see your source.
2. VS Code / Cursor extension
Open the command palette and search for Kramlipi: Guided Setup. It walks you through picking a model provider and storing the key in OS-level secret storage — never in settings.json.
3. Azure DevOps extension
For teams standardized on Azure Pipelines, add the CodeAgent@1 task. See ci/azure-pipelines-code-review.yml for a full pipeline example.
4. Docker — for GitLab CI, CircleCI, Jenkins, or anything else
docker pull ghcr.io/kramlipi/code-agent:latest
docker run --rm -it \
-e CODE_AGENT_MODEL \
-e GEMINI_API_KEY \
-v "$PWD:/workspace" \
ghcr.io/kramlipi/code-agent:latest \
run "increase unit test coverage" \
--verify-cmd "go test ./..." \
-w /workspace
5. Try it locally first — zero commitment
export CODE_AGENT_MODEL=gemini/gemini-3.1-flash-lite
export GEMINI_API_KEY=your-key
code-agent doctor --provider-test
code-agent run "fix failing tests" --verify-cmd "pytest -q" -w /path/to/your/project
No repo upload, no account creation, no charge on the Community tier. If you like what you see, see pricing for production CI use.
